All DTBase tutors are personally selected for their expertise, professionalism, and proven success in Design & Technology. Each tutor achieved an A* in A-Level D&T and has a strong background in the subject - whether through university study, engineering, architecture, or product design. Our tutors share a passion for helping students build confidence, improve grades, and develop creative, technical, and analytical skills that last beyond the exam.
Hi, I’m Will - an Engineering graduate from the University of Bath with five years of online tutoring experience in Design & Technology at GCSE and A-Level. My lessons are structured, supportive, and exam-board specific. I use interactive tools like digital whiteboards and past papers to help students build strong exam technique and confidence.
Hi I’m Jemima! I’m in my first year studying Architecture at the University of Bath. I’ve always enjoyed DT and Product Design and studied it for GCSE and A Level. I also studied Maths to A Level and love helping others feel more confident in it.
Inspired by my mum, a Maths teacher, I’ve developed a flexible, encouraging teaching style that adapts to each student. I’ve tutored a range of ages and levels, helping learners boost confidence and improve grades. I hope I can help you too!
Hi, I am an Industrial Design graduate from Loughborough University, where I specialised in medical design. I’ve been tutoring for over three years, helping GCSE and A-Level students in Product Design, Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Currently working with 15-20 students per week across a variety of platforms to overcome the COVID setbacks and reach new targets. The last exam season saw over 92% of my students achieve 1 grade or more; above their School-set target grades. I hold an enhanced DBS, qualified in SEN teaching and experienced in working with neurodivergent students. I balance tutoring with my full-time clinical research project; aiming to remain as flexible as possible. Please get in touch and to see how I can help.
