NEA Coursework Support: AQA & Edexcel

Non-exam assessment is worth up to 50% of the final grade, and it's the part most students struggle with most.

Exam boards covered: AQA and Edexcel, GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology

5 years helping GCSE and A-Level D&T students strengthen their NEA portfolios. Our NEA support tutors achieved A* in their own coursework.

We work with students to build the skills that actually move an NEA grade: reading assessment objectives accurately, structuring a portfolio so the marking criteria are easy for an examiner to find, and writing evaluation that does what evaluation is supposed to do.

Every review ends with a written checklist, not just a conversation. Past students have said knowing exactly what to change next made the biggest difference.

Questions

How much does NEA coursework support cost?

A one-off portfolio review is £75. A termly check-in bundle, three sessions across one school term, is £180.

Will you write or fix my coursework for me?

No. Under JCQ exam board rules, NEA coursework has to be entirely the student's own work. That includes the writing, not just the ideas. We don't draft, write, or provide content to be copied into a portfolio. What we provide is feedback: what's working, what's weak, and what to change, in the student's own words.

Which exam boards and specifications do you cover?

AQA and Edexcel, at both GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology.

What happens after I book a portfolio review?

You'll securely send your portfolio after booking. We spend two hours reviewing it in full, then send a feedback pack with a clear checklist of what to change. We finish with a 45-minute call to go through it and plan next steps.

Can I start with a one-off review and book a termly check-in bundle later?

Yes. Many students do exactly that. Just get in touch after your review and we'll set up your first termly bundle.

Do I have to book a termly check-in bundle every term?

No. Each bundle covers one term, and there's no obligation to book another. Book again for the next term if you want the support to continue.
